MASS PELLET STRENGTH INSTRUMENT

ASTM D 1937

 

· Determines the mass strength of a cylindrical column of pelletized carbon black to              predict its flow capability in bulk handling systems.

 

· Designed with electronic readout, modular air equipment, and solid state timer.               Output of the data is in SI units, Metric, or PSI.

 

· Includes an interlock safety device to prevent injury.

 

· Operates with 110 or 220 volts at 50 or 60 Hertz and 90-100psig air pressure and              minimal air usage.

 

· An electronic calibration device (load cell and digital readout) is included.
